At the July meeting Steven Burman is going to tell us about CQRS. There will be talk of commands, eventual consistency and other mysterious notions. Afterwards, we will probably relocate to a local establishment for a beer.

June Meeting
This month I am going to show off some of the fun things I have been doing with MongoDB / NoSql. After that we'll see what happens. If you have something you would like to discuss go for it. Thanks again to John Jeffery and Software Projects for providing the venue.

May Meeting
This month (6th May) we are trying something different - a code dojo. We will split into pairs and solve a simple programming problem. These events are a lot of fun and a great way to learn from each other. We will need plenty of laptops so bring one if you can.
The library is not a suitable venue so this month will be using the meeting room at Software Projects (thankyou John Jeffery)

This month on Brisbane Alt.NET
This month's meeting is being brought forward to tomorrow night (Wednesday 31st March) due to meeting room availability.
Paul Stovell will be presenting his sellout show 'Architecting WPF Applications'.
Once again, the venue is the tiered theatre at the Brisbane Square Library at the top of the mall. If you are coming from queen st go in the main doors of the library and turn left. The meeting will run from 6pm until 8:45pm. Afterward I expect we will head somewhere for some beer and wedges.

March Alt.Net Beers
As an Alt.neter
I wish to imbibe beer
so that my thirst may be satiated
I could not get the library meeting room tonight (or any other night this week) so this month will be an Alt.Net beers at the usual venue - the Riverside Pig 'n' Whistle - at 6pm.

February Meeting - Composition in .NET 4
Some say he naturally faces magnetic north, and that all of his legs are hydraulic... all we know is, he's called Nick Blumhardt and he is going to kick-off this month's meeting (Thursday 4th February) talking about...
"the general picture of composition in .NET 4.0 and what Autofac (along with some of its peers) is doing to fit with it. I'd especially like this to be an open discussion like the last session - some of this stuff is cutting-edge :) so it would be very interesting to hear the ideas and opinions of the group. "
